MOVE
We are off to Cape Town for the long awaited MOVE Theatre Dance Association Competition. The first round is Regionals, if the girls get Bronze, Silver or Gold awards they go to the Nationals two weeks later.
The competition has begun….
The girls performed their first two dances. Ballet and African Contemporary. Bronze for their fabulous Ballet and a Gold for their African- Contemporary dance. Congratulations girls! An incredible achievement.

An amazing time and experience was had by all. Miss Mary won a trophy for her dedicated work in the Community! Miss Mary teaches dance to 85 farm children every week and about 50 children from McGregor Village. Congratulations Miss Mary, well deserved. The girls won a total of 8 medals, two 2nd positions and two third positions. Absolutely incredible results for First Step Ballet McGregor.
Arts in McGregor
In between our two visits to Cape Town we celebrated the Arts in McGregor. The children did a wonderful performance of their dances. The audience were great and really appreciated the children. Good job everyone at First Step Ballet McGregor!
