What a wonderful surprise to have a Guest Teacher right on our doorstep. Visiting family Jada-Anne flew in from California and within a few hours was teaching the FSB children some wonderful new Hip Hop moves. Thank you Jada-Anne the children absolutely loved it. Come back again anytime.

Donations

We were super excited to receive three large boxes from Dance Donation. Inside the boxes were dance clothes and lots and lots of them. Enough for the eighty five farm children and the FSB girls. Thank you so much to Lily for arranging this for our children..we will show pictures next month.

Gugulethu Project

We were very happy to start a new project called the Gugulethu Project. FSBM will collaborate with the Dancescape SA senior dancers twice a month for the rest of the year. They will all have Ballet classes with Miss Mary and Musical Theatre, then with Nqaba the Dancescape teacher they will have African, Hip Hop and some Pas de Deux work too. Very excited to see the students growth over the coming months.

Filming the girls dancing in the street for a production in Cape Town for Sports Arts & Culture. The Senior girls got the chance to dance outside, a new piece created by Keenun Dansboy during the Dance Camp in December.
