July was full on with rehearsals for the Montagu Youth Arts Festival.  

In-between the rehearsals we managed to have a Guest Teacher for a new dance. A beautiful Contemporary piece from Aviwe November, for the Senior girls competition in Cape Town next month.. 

Also some of the Senior girls were invited by Prof Tara Coste from the University of Southern Maine,  to take part in the Montagu Project. The project is for Leadership in the Community and Organizational skills. The girls absolutely loved the week in Montagu. Up very early every morning to start the course by 8 am. They learnt a lot that week and finished by doing a show for the children in Ashbury Community.
